Men's Ashes 2021/22

Alison is back as a lead TV commentator on a men’s Ashes series down under for the 2nd time in her career, after breaking new ground in 2017/18 as the first female to do so when she commentated on the men’s Ashes for UK broadcaster BT Sport. This time she resumes her position as part of Seven’s free-to-air commentary team, broadcasting to the Australian audience alongside Ricky Ponting, Damian Fleming and Lord Ian Botham.

A firm favourite in Australia, Alison will also take up her regular spot in the ABC Grandstand team for ball by ball radio commentary, pending border restrictions allowing travel to the venues.

Alison first commentated on men’s international cricket on ABC Grandstand in 2014. She has been a lead commentator on Seven’s coverage of men’s Test cricket since 2018 and has become a fixture of the Australian sporting summer.
